The Ancestors are always around us, supporting us, and cheering us on. They remind us of where we come from and guide us to get where we're going. We are their living legacies, the embodiment of their prayer, hopes, dreams, pain, and beliefs. We not only inherit physical traits - we inherit everything! During this time of year when the veil is at its thinnest, we have the opportunity to connect with them on a very deep level. Bringing Ancestral healing, memory, and wisdom through our own sacred offering.
This Ancestral Ceremony will be an offering of mythology & storytelling, astrology, songs, plant medicine, and shamanic journeying. We will drink mugwort tea to support our intuition and ancient knowledge while meditating with a communal altar. Sacred essences will be placed on energy centers and points along the body’s meridians to shift into a dreamlike state, so that we can journey deep within ourselves to meet our Ancestors.
You will also have the opportunity to craft your own medicinal herb bundle to take home to continue this work.

Nicole Adriana Casanova is a student of Maestro Manuel Rufino, a Taino elder who founded Golden Drum cultural center in Brooklyn, New York. Nicole is a writer, poet and storyteller, a 200 RYT Yoga Alliance certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher, a certified Reiki Master in the Usui and Karuna Reiki Riojo, a Shamanic Practitioner, a Human Movement teacher and Magical Awakening Practitioner. Nicole blends decades of expertise in the wellness and holistic field to create one-of-a-kind empowerment experiences in groups as well as one-on-one settings. As a Soul Architect, Nicole bridges practices and teachings from various wisdom traditions around the world, with intuitive knowledge and practical know-how to create one-of-a-kind blueprints of empowerment, healing and remembrance.

Jordan Catherine Pagán is the healer and medicine maker of Ostara Apothecary, based in Brooklyn, NY. Jordan creates plant and stone medicine to heal on multidimensional levels, drawing upon her Yaqui heritage and connection with the natural world. She also practices Pranayama Breathwork, Reiki, 13th Octave LaHoChi, and Tarot as tools for soul transformation. A follower of the flowers, she finds a way to incorporate them into every one of her sessions, using fresh flowers and her own handcrafted flower essences. Jordan leads monthly Breathwork healing circles and herbal medicine classes around NYC and online, and maintains a private practice.
